Hummingbird feeding on a Yucca plant.

On a visit to Fredericksburg, I caught this very busy Hummingbird feeding on a Yucca plant. I was hooked on these little birds immediately!

This little hummingbird visited the backyard with three or four friends as they migrated this fall.

These hummingbirds visited my garden for several weeks at the end of August. At first, I just saw one hummingbird. But after a couple of days, I noticed three or four flitting around at the feeders and the flowers. They chase each other from feeder to feeder and among the Lantana and Salvia. They are so much fun to watch and listen to as they feed and fly around! They made themselves at home with the Finches and the Doves.
